What is life?

Some would say to be happy, to be able to live simple and stay grounded, to experience peace and solemn, and most important to be able to express LOVE and to LOVE.

All true, undoubted.

The meaning and value of life are not by the things we want to achieve or what we might ponder upon. It is the way we do, what we do. This uniqueness and the uncertainty of life is what makes it both exciting and happy as well as terrifies us with fear of loss or grief

Today, you might be cracking a deal with the finest of businessmen and giving a huge profit to your organization. The very next week, you might be handed with a resignation letter from the same company.
Today, you might have had a beautiful candlelight dinner with your beloved, and tomorrow you may be sitting in the ICU waiting area with tears rolling down your cheeks and prayers in your heart for her life.
Today, you might be settled in your life, with an apartment of your own in one of the most developed cities, playing with your cute pet and enjoying the amazing filter coffee with the amazing view from your balcony, and next week you might go all bankrupt and have to leave your apartment and come back to your parents without anything in your hand.
All of you could relate the few above situations to some or other memories in your life or maybe someone whom you are close to’s life.
I personally can relate to most of these traumatizing incidents.

But,
The beauty of this uncertainty is it teaches us, every single second, every single minute of our lives that, what matters is the NOW the one that we are living, the NOW that which we are certain of, the NOW of which we could make the most, the NOW which is a perfect time to say what you always wished to say, the NOW when we should let go our ego and hold her hands and call her back, the NOW when you do whatever you imagined of doing, the NOW when you go that extra mile for the person who matters to you most so that we don’t lose her.
We unfortunately always fail to understand this great opportunity given by life to us and all we do is keep thinking of something that is totally irrelevant and that which never was or is or will be in our control i.e. the great thought of “What if….we could have”, just to sit back one day and regret latter of what we lost.

There is something that we all should realize, materialistic pleasure will always come and go and can always be recovered, we have millions of instances where we see the same. But, there is something that can never ever be changed i.e. the NOW, that we have in our hands to live the fullest.

So, that tomorrow when you look back in your life, you will be satisfied to yourself that you did whatever you could have done and the most beautiful thing is you are still fighting the battle and trying every single day, walking every single mile to move ahead and go on and on and on…………..

As the saying goes,
“Death is a harsh truth, which is why people hate it but
Live is a beautiful lie, which is what people ponder upon.”

Today, as we all are celebrating Father’s day, this is a small tribute to all the Fathers; who is the first love for their daughters’ and the best superhero to their sons’. For whom they can chase down even the worst traffic to reach just in time so that they don’t miss the school day function and for whom they can climb the highest hills and mountains just to show them the beauty of nature.

“Happy Father’s Day.”

To the best dad.
