The day is a special one today,
As the clocks tick 12 again.
Just a small thank you for all the chocolates and treats,
for all the moments both, Good and sweet.
From your early morning Hi, to our coffee break together
Be it those winter fogs to being stuck in traffic jams.
Gratitude for your presence and your efforts,
is always seen in my eyes heartfelt thanks is the wish tonight.
To know I matter makes me feel divine,
Today no grudges, complaints, or pain come in line.
That dance floor to that wait for,
That ice cream cone to share from.
Those hidden stares from beside,
to all the missing pieces of the smile.
Being miles away still, all I wish,
Is to see those brown, sparkling eyes just once at least.
Waiting for every second to see you again,
just to run to you and give a tight hug once again.
A year full of ups and downs to cheer on,
filled with happy tears and forever cherished till I am gone.
Sure, to be as it is a brand-new day but,
Suddenly feels like it’s like the first day.

Well written..and yet…Life is not meant to follow a pattern. Every moment has a multitude of realms.
