Most frequently heard saying “Grass looks always greener at the other side”.

Everyone have struggled in their lives and everyone grows out of it in his/her way. That said, no one can judge someone else’s struggle as superior or inferior. As for each person, their struggle is the hardest that they could have had faced and survived out of it. some may have survived the Hiroshima Nagasaki nuclear detention. Others may have survived the huge waves of Tsunami.

Some may have seen bankruptcy and slept with a half-filled stomach for days, while others may have been owing a huge amount of loans for ages.

On the contrary, some may have been financially stable but mentally tortured and shattered emotionally, left all alone just like broken pieces of glass lying all over the place, by none other than their own family.

While others may have had a simple happy life and family still somewhere lacks peace and solace.

Or even worst, a small happy family might just get crashed and scattered just because someone in the family at a very tender age might get affected by some deadly disease.

“People complain only when they don’t have what we do,

Or they can’t achieve what we already have.” Thus, the saying goes Grass is always greener on the other side.

But the irony is people only see what are the good things happening and notice only what people have above theirs. They don’t look at the sad or let me say, the real facts and figures behind what is just visual. At times, I can say this confidently (from my personal experience) what is seen is not what actually exists. There is always a hidden pain behind every public smile and a hidden sorrow or painful struggle behind every success.

Just that fact that people like only nice visual persona and a fake visible reality and not the actual pillar to post effort put together to make it real and the hours of sweat and blood invested into it not to forget the pain tears and inner strength and self-motivation given to oneself with no one to support throughout the journey.

All, I wish to convey to my readers whoever whenever you get a chance to read this article is

“Just stay, with someone no matter who he/she is when he/she says they need you.

Just hold on to someone who might at times directly or indirectly say,

“Can we talk,

Can we have tea at an odd time or When will start from the office today

Can we wait for the next metro to come

Can we wait for 5 more minutes, please

Can you hang up the call after two mins, please”

So, at times Just stay,

and

Just hold on to that special person of your life without whom you might get empty and incomplete somedayAs the day that is gone is gone forever.

This is so relevant specially in toady’s world where we all are involved in a never ending mad race to go to the top.Often in this process we tend to forget the demarcations between what is real and what is not!!

Very well written Shruti….
