We, humans so simple, so loving yet so complex, so disastrous

Nature has created all of us, humans as the most evolved beings on this planet. We have the most developed brain and a huge generous, loving, and caring heart filled with emotions and undying love (OR maybe not). Till a certain age in my life, I thought so and humanity helped me by proofing that I am right.

But I was wrong, incredibly fooled and left shipwrecked all alone to suffer and die from within day by day. As I assumed my thoughts to be true and guess what, they were not. People are different way different some with ego others with jealousy and some with selfish motives, spread all around you maybe within your home or outside at streets, within your team at office or your acquaintances at professional life. They are omnipresent and are like parasites who use your innocence and good heart for their selfish needs and remove you like garbage once the deed is done.

The mere thought of me, mine, and only mine makes people do things that are beyond someone’s imagination even the person him/herself if he/she things of it. There is a very thin margin between thinking about oneself and acting upon accordingly and prioritising only oneself and taking next steps. The mere thought of self-good and self-need can itself be disastrous in ways no one can imagine. As we all have an angel and a monster within us, it solely and solely depends on us whom we nurture upon and what we grow into.

I have witnessed as well as experienced personally what people can do or how they can behave with you just to get your help or mere assistance in doing something which had a whole different hidden motive benefiting him/her in some way. Well, it is not bad to think of one’s good but what is bad or rather inhuman is disregarding the person who was there beside you at the time when no one else.

As the famous saying goes, “You may forget the person who was with you at your happy times, but never forget the person who was there with you at your tough times.”

There was a time in life when I used to believe in this saying and would never give up on anyone no matter what they do or what they have to say. But as days passed by and the real face of most people just unfolded itself in front Trust, love, sunshine, and peace all started turning meaningless.

Recently, most of my readers, have come back saying, Shruti Inspires have changed the genre from motivational and inspiring thoughts and articles to mostly gloomy and painful ones, is it something related to some real incidents or is it something happening in my life. Well, I would answer that today by saying just one line, “It is something related to most of our life’s me included, with the current happenings and how the world has turned upside down. Yes, it is something we all can relate to in our daily lives either direct or indirectly.

People change, people betray, and people break your trust, was not unknown.
